In La Pradera, a modest facility, different rehabilitation programs are implemented in 10 specialties. Oncology, heart diseases, diabetes, hearing disorders, skin diseases and orthopedics are some of them.
La Pradera, like every hospital in Cuba, is dependent on the state. Surgery is not performed in La Pradera, if surgical operation is required, foreign patients are sent to other Cuban hospitals and taken to La Pradera for rehabilitation.
