Ministry of Health Approved QBA Meditours Cuba Cancer Vaccine and Treatments and All Details About Application
Cancer vaccines and supplementary programs are available in Cuba. As a company, we manage and oversee the entire process of accessing these globally followed treatments. Since we are a private organization, we do not receive any government support. Therefore, the full cost of the process is reflected directly to our clients.
From time to time, we receive feedback from our clients or followers asking why these vaccines are not covered by the Turkish Ministry of Health. As Qba Medi Tours, we are a company officially authorized by both the Turkish Ministry of Health and the Cuban Ministry of Health. We undergo routine inspections and operate strictly under the guidelines of the Cuban Ministry of Health without interfering with any part of the process. Occasionally, SGK (Turkish Social Security Institution) may include or remove these vaccines from its coverage. While we monitor these updates as much as possible, we do not always have direct access as a private firm. If the vaccines are covered by SGK, they can be obtained through the Turkish Pharmacists’ Association (TEB).
However, a prior application must be made in every case. No one can access the vaccine without prior approval from the Cuban Ministry of Health. The Ministry must confirm that the patient is eligible for the cancer vaccine. If a client has applied through our agency, all payments for the vaccine must be made directly to the Cuban Ministry of Health. As an agency, we are not authorized to add any additional costs to the vaccine, nor can we receive the payment ourselves. As we have stated in previous articles, the payment is made directly to the Ministry, and the patient receives an official invoice for the exact amount paid, stamped and signed by the Ministry.
If the patient applying to Cuba has private health insurance and it covers international treatments, they may consult their insurance provider and request reimbursement. Some patients have been able to obtain vaccines via the Turkish Pharmacists’ Association, but this is not always possible. SGK does not always include these vaccines in its coverage; it adds and removes them from time to time. The final decision rests with the Turkish Ministry of Health.
If the Turkish Ministry of Health initiates a program to fully cover the costs of Cuban cancer vaccines (such as Cimavax, Vaxira, Cimaher), we, as a health agency, will fully support this initiative and stand behind such a decision.
