    Cuba has developed three major cancer vaccines: CIMAvax-EGF, Vaxira (Racotumomab), and Nimotuzumab (CIMAHER). CIMAvax-EGF, developed for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients, targets Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) to slow tumor growth and prolong life. Vaxira is a monoclonal antibody that encourages the immune system to detect and destroy cancer cells.
